The short version: if you ask for the Rules Kit, we keep your email and whether you said athlete or parent. We use it to send the kit and NIL rule updates. We never sell it. The site counts visits with Cloudflare only. No Google, no Meta. Email [email protected] and we'll delete your email.
Who we are
NIL School (nil-school.com) is a free lesson site about NIL for high-school athletes 13 and older, and their parents. It is run by Coach Teddy Dupay, the same team behind NIL for Kids (nilforkids.com), in the United States. Contact: [email protected].
Under 13? This site isn't for you yet
NIL School is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you're under 13, don't sign up. Ask a parent to sign up instead.
Parents: if you find out your child under 13 signed up, email [email protected] with the email address they used. We'll delete it from our list and from our email service.
13 to 17: please sign up only with a parent's OK.
What we collect when you ask for the Rules Kit
- Your email address.
- Which button you picked: "I'm an athlete" or "I'm a parent".
- A short label that says the sign-up came from NIL School (like "nilschool-athlete"), and the date and time.
That's it. We don't ask for your name, phone, school, age or address.
Why we keep it
- To email you the Rules Kit you asked for.
- To let you know if the NIL rules change.
- To send Coach Teddy's other emails, which include his basketball news. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Who gets it
- Our sign-up list. The form sends your email to the NIL for Kids sign-up list (same owner as NIL School). It is stored privately on Cloudflare, and only we can see it.
- The kit email is sent through Cloudflare, from [email protected]. If you reply, it goes to Coach Teddy.
- Brevo, our email service. About once an hour, new emails on our list are copied to Brevo and added to Coach Teddy Dupay's mailing lists, which include his basketball list. Brevo gets your email address and the label "nilforkids.com", not your athlete or parent choice.
- We never sell, rent or trade your email to anyone.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. We also keep a note that the kit was sent, and that note erases itself after 24 hours.
What the site counts when you visit
You don't have to sign up for this part. Every page of NIL School runs one counter:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and which pages get read, without cookies. It does not follow you to other sites.
No Google Analytics, no Meta (Facebook) Pixel and no other advertising tool runs on NIL School (we took them off on October 20, 2026, because teens use this site). Nothing about your visit is sent to Google, Facebook or Instagram.
Delete your email or stop the emails
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and say "delete me". A parent can write for their teen. We'll remove it from our list and from Brevo.
If the site is sold
If NIL School or NIL for Kids is sold to or merged with a new owner, your email may go to that owner as part of the deal. The new owner has to keep the promises on this page.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources (state athletic associations, the IRS, and others) and to nilforkids.com. Other sites have their own privacy rules.
